Next month, LEGS are running a free online webinar geared towards helping you get a better understanding of PR and how it can help your business.
SO, what is it that you actually do?”
“What in life or for my job?”
“No, your job, what does a PR person actually do?”
The PR dilemma:
If you work in PR, I am sure you’ve been part of a conversation like that at some point in your career, whether it’s been your Aunty Linda asking you over Christmas dinner, or Dave who works at the company down the road.
SO, Linda and Dave have got us thinking. If they don’t know what PR is, there’ll be loads of other people who don’t know what it is either – or how it can help them.
Our free webinar:
And that’s where we come in! We’re running a free webinar next month aimed at the Linda’s and Dave’s and anyone else in this world who haven’t got a scooby what Public Relations is.
Here’s a clue:
The Cambridge dictionary defines PR as: ‘the activity of keeping good relationships between an organisation and the general public.’
The Collins dictionary says PR, ‘is the part of the organisation’s work that is concerned with obtaining the public’s approval for what it does.’
Any the wiser?
Basically, PR is all those things that help you build your reputation and establish trust with your clients and stakeholders.
It can be anything that gives you credibility, whether that’s an interview on your local radio station, an article in the newspaper, a blog on your website, or a video on LinkedIn.
If you want to find out more about PR, how it can help raise your profile and how it can help you generate more leads check out our free online webinar on Tuesday December 7th at 2pm.
It’s only a 45-minute bitesize session so we don’t take up much of your time either.
You’ll find out:
- More about what PR is in simple terms
- How it can help you
- How to plan a PR schedule
- Tricks, tips, and techniques
- And you can ask us questions too!
And it’ll put you in a strong position to hit the ground running come January 1st, 2022 (how is it nearly 2022 already?)
